Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport commonly used for Rishikesh. Taxis are usually available, but journey time varies with traffic, weather and road conditions. Confirm your terminal pickup and fare before departure.
By train
Rishikesh and Yog Nagari Rishikesh stations serve selected routes. Haridwar Junction is another important railhead with broader connections. From the station, continue by prepaid taxi, app cab where available, or locally arranged transport to Tapovan.
By road
Rishikesh has road connections with Delhi, Haridwar, Dehradun and other North Indian cities. Government and private buses commonly arrive at bus terminals away from Tapovan, so plan the last part by taxi or auto-rickshaw.
